BM256 Breadmaker Review
So, for the extra five quid you get a clean, stainless steel finish. Stainless steel does not stain, corrode or rust as easily as ordinary steel so the BM256 breadmaker should out last the BM250.
Flexibility
As with the BM250, the BM256 breadmaker offers flexibility. You can choose to bake a 500g, 750g or 1kg loaf. Furthermore, you can adjust the crust colour too, between light, medium and dark. For those occasions when you want your bread done quickly, the BM256 breadmaker also features a rapid bake option to get you from 0 to bread in just 58 minutes!
Delay Timer
A delay timer is fitted as standard on the BM256, ensuring you can have fresh bread in the morning. Don't worry if you are late to collect your bread as the BM256 will automatically turn itself to the handy keep warm feature. For up to an hour, your bread will stay hot, ready and waiting for you.
Additional Features
The white lid of this brushed stainless steel breadmaker has a large viewing window allowing you to see your bread as it progresses. The clear LCD screen shows you exactly which stage your bread is at and allows easy programming of the machine. Push buttons on the control panel are clearly marked and highlighted with stylish chrome detailing.

This looks lovely in stainless steel with a crisp snow white top. LCD display that shows options, time (countdown) and cooking stages. buttons to select things like bread type, size of loaf, crust colour. Had bread makers before but this thing actually works for crust colour without burning the crust. My tip use a little milk as it helps it brown. Surprised to get a measuring jug and a nifty little spoon for dry ingredients that is selectable in size between 1 tablespoon to half a teaspoon (very useful!).
Also a single button for a fast baked loaf in under an hour. Also has a timer. Oblong loafs not those weird round ones that some bread makers pop out. Though if you like those maybe for Danish bread you can order one separately. Excellent bread from this thing, hooked on it, best I have had from a bread maker. Not had a loaf where the paddle stuck in it yet which is brilliant. It also makes cakes and jams as well as dough and all manner of loaves, white, French, wholemeal, granary, fruit, sweet, you name it. Very versatile. And also VERY quiet, apart from the beeper which is nice and loud so you don't miss that its finished.
